Congratulations to our Regional College Bowl Team that placed third in the Region 10 ACUI College Bowl competition held at University of Minnesota - Mankato on February 22-23. The members of the team included: Scott Nystrom, Warren Miller, Timothy Kutnink and Clair Keene. Scott Nystrom was the third ranked player of the tournament after the round robin portion of the tournament and Warren Miller was the seventh out of 20 competitors in the tournament.
The National College Bowl Tournament will be held at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN on April 25-27.
Next years campus tournament will be held in mid-late fall with the exact dates TBD.

What is College Bowl? It is the Varsity Sport of the Mind! An opportunity for you to team up with some friends to take on other teams in a "Jeopardy like" format of competition to win cool prizes and even earn a chance to represent Iowa State at the Regional Tournament of the bravest and brightest trivia champs in four states at the Regional Tournament, with a chance to represent the region for the National Title. feel free to check out what College Bowl is all about and show us what you can do!

College Bowl Teams consist of up to five players, minimum of three. and yes Graduate students are welcome to participate. A registration form is attached and the deadline for registration is Thursday, October 25th. Just fill out the attached registration form and turn it into the East SOS of the Memorial Union or e-mail it directly to stevesat@iastate.edu. Due to the timeframe of the tournament and questions available we must limit the field to the first 24 teams that turn in their registration.

Get your organization involved and be a sponsor of the College Bowl just by VOLUNTEERING. We are also looking for Volunteers to assist with the tournament. We need scorekeepers, timers, judges and moderators to help run the rooms and be in charge. This is a great volunteer opportunity if you just want to check out the tournament or just test your trivia knowledge by yourself.
