The Memorial Union is the hub of arts and entertainment on campus!
The M-Shop is an all-age venue that's been providing live music to Ames since 1974. Smashing Pumpkins, Jack Johnson, Metro Station, The Academy Is..., The Civil Wars, Thompson Square, and OK Go are just a taste of the big name acts that have played at the M-Shop.
Catch other events including Grandma Mojo's student improv, comedy shows, poetry slams and open mic nights.
The Workspace is a community space with art classes and open studios for the artists, crafters... and those that want to be them! Ceramics, woodworking metalsmithing, screenprinting, stained glass, fiber arts, drawing, painting, dance, writing and more.
The Underground features bowling, billiards, table tennis, video games, air hockey and more! Semester passes are available for unlimited bowling, shoe rental and billiards. Or grab your friends and take advantage of Buck Bowling ($1 bowling, $1 shoes, $1 soda) on Sundays and Mondays.
