The Underground is located on the lowest level of the Memorial Union on the Iowa State Campus.

Yes and no. The MU policy is that people who are under the age of 18 and are not enrolled at ISU must be accompanied by an adult.

The Underground has a snack bar which offers great munchies such as pizza, pop, popcorn and beer.

There  is no time limit to play, you can play for as long as your body will let you, and only as long as we are open of course!

Yes, you can reserve bowling alleys or pool tables for your group or party.

Yes! You are more than welcome to bring in your own bowling and billiard equipment.

Currently we do not offer our own classes, however ISU Recreation Services uses our space for intramural bowling and the ISU Kinesiology Department offers bowling classes each semester.

There is ample space in the Underground to put stuff at  while you play.

No! However, we do expect you to come in with a top, bottom, and shoes.

No, you do not need an ISU card to play. An ISU card will give you student rates.

Yes, we are open during dead week and finals week, come take a break from your studies with us!

Inquire at the Underground desk for semester passes.

If you have more than 5 in your group, we reccommend a reservation. Please call us.
