Event Authorization Process Online
For the past two years, the Event Authorization Committee has been working to move the paper process of Event Authorization online, and is excited to announce the online system is ready to launch! With the authorization process moving online, student organizations will have more flexibility when submitting events.

In order for your student organization to take advantage of the new system, members of your student organization who wish to turn in an Event Authorization form will first need to go through training from the Event Management Office. This training is not mandatory for every member of your student organization. However, your student group will not be able to use the online system until at least the president, treasurer, and advisor have gone through training. Please visit www.mu.iastate.edu/eatraining to sign up for a time to attend a training session.

GSB Allocations
The Government of the Student Body will be holding Regular Allocations for student organizations looking to request GSB funding. Regular Allocations is recognized as the process in which student organizations can request funding from the Government of the Student Body for the next fiscal year, FY 12/13. The Regular Allocations Schedule will be posted in the GSB office, in the GSB glass case outside the WSOS, and sent to your organization upon request. Each organization MUST attend one informational session to be able to participate, those dates of which are outlined on the schedule.

>>Please contact Finance Director Katherine Benton at krbenton@iastate.edu with questions.
