What is ISLE?
Iowa State Leadership Experience is an annual leadership program sponsored by the Student Activities Center, Office of Greek Affairs, Student Alumni Leadership Council, GSB, the Department of Residence, and Target. This event is intended to help new and existing leaders on campus improve their leadership skills, learn about leadership opportunities at Iowa State, and network with other leaders from across campus.
ISLE was started in 2007, and has grown and evolved since then. ISLE started as a short, evening event, and is now a full day event on Saturday. Because of a grant from Target, It now features a professional, well-known, keynote speaker and presentations by a variety of students, faculty, and staff from across campus.
What can I expect?
Sessions on leadership topics will be offered by respected student leaders, faculty, staff, and community members. Participants will get to interact with and learn about current topics in leadership and find new ways to collaborate across campus. There will be a keynote speech, followed by 3 sessions. You will get to choose which topics you want to learn about during each session. Click here for a list of sessions. Dress is casual.
9:45 a.m. - Registration
10 a.m. - Keynote Address: Leadership on the Big Screen, Delatorro McNeal, Sun Room
11:10 a.m.-12 p.m. - Session 1
12-12:40 p.m. - Lunch
12:45-1:35 p.m. - Session 2
1:45-2:35 - Session 3
2:45 p.m. - Closing
Who is invited?
Any ISU student who wants to enhance his or her leadership skills and meet other campus leaders. If you are just getting started in leadership at Iowa State, this is a great resource to help you on your way! If you are currently an organization president, adviser or instructor we encourage you to send your student leaders to ISLE.

What is the cost?
