| Women's Leadership Retreat |
The second annual Women's Leadership Retreat will be held on Friday, January 6-Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the Knapp Storms Dining Center. This event is a collaboration between the Student Activities Center and the Catt Center for Women and Politics with the assistance of many other female focused organizations on and off campus.
This event brings together students to network with one another and female leaders at Iowa State and the Central Iowa community. This retreat allows participants to hone their leadership skills and it will motivate them to continue in leadership roles at Iowa State and beyond.
Some of the topics that will be covered include:
- Empowerment
- Mentoring
- Managing difficult discussions
- Various other leadership topics
This event is funded through an ISU Women's Enrichment Mini-Grant. The cost of the retreat is free, however we ask for a $20 deposit to hold your place, which will be returned to you after completion of the retreat. The retreat is geared toward undergraduate women, but all ISU students are welcome to apply.
