Student Organization Marketplace

The Student Organization Marketplace is an online marketplace in which recognized Student Organizations at Iowa State University are able to extend their business to the internet and more effectively reach the larger Iowa State community and beyond. Student Organizations can use the Marketplace to sell event registrations, collect memberships dues, and receive non-charitable donations. By purchasing a product through the Student Organization Marketplace, the customer is directly supporting a recognized student organization.

You can find more information about the Student Organization Marketplace here!

Submit Your Events to Event Authorization

Student Organization Event Authorization is the process completed before hosting an event on or off campus.  This is a requirement for all student organizations, set in place to work toward making sure events run smoothly.  Events should not be advertised until official approval has been received. Coordination of activities and space management is essential, with the end goal being a safe and successful event.

Events that are not open to the public (i.e. weekly organizational meetings or small recognition ceremonies for group members) do not have to be authorized. However, for events that are required to be authorized, it is recommended for organizations hosting large events to submit an application 30-60 days before the date of the event.  Small events should be submitted at least ten business days before the event date.
