Art Class: Sewing Dog Coats

February 18, 2016, 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM (America/Chicago)

Learn beginning sewing skills and keep your furry friend warm this winter. Do some quick measurements before the first night (directions are on The Workspace website), and make a simple pattern when you get to class. Beginning sewers are welcome, as are those with more experience that would like a fun experience working in a group. An assortment of flannel and fleece will be available, as well as notions and sewing machines. Thursdays beginning February 18, 6:30-9pm for 2 weeks

Instructor: Judith Lemish

ISU $41 ($24 tuition + $17 supply fee)
Public $51 ($34 tuition + $17 supply fee)

If you are registered for the class, here are the measurements you will need to bring the first evening:
1. First measure around dog's neck and add one inch (this is for the velcro).
2. Measure along back from base of neck to base of tail.
3. Determine desired length of jacket in front of neck.
4. Measure completely around mid-tummy/lower chest and back area.
