Sugar Skull Embroidery Workshop
Workspace
Sugar skulls are symbolic pieces of folk art popular during Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a Mexican holiday for remembering and honoring those who have passed. Choose from several patterns and personalize with your color choices. Those new to stitching will learn the basic embroidery stitches. If you know the basics, try some fancy stitches to add to your repertoire. Finished pieces can be hung in the provided hoops or added onto another project, ready for this year’s Dia de los Muertos on November 1 & 2.
